David Oringdulph, Owner and CEO, Matrix Development and Legend Homes
Legend Homes founder David Oringdulph has been in the home building business for over 40 years. As CEO, he oversees the family of companies that incorporates Matrix Development, Legend Homes, Legend Real Estate Services and Legend Mortgage. Mr. Oringdulph’s success is built upon his expert knowledge of land acquisition, land development and the industry awards, including a lifetime achievement award from the National Association of Home Builders. He is involved in a number of local organizations that contribute to the health and well-being of disadvantaged children.

Jim Chapman, President and General Manager, Legend Homes
With 35 years in home building, Jim Chapman serves on the Executive Committee and is Chair of the Land Use and Taxation Committee for the Oregon Home Builders Association. The Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Portland named Mr. Chapman their President for 2005. In addition, the HBA and the Oregon Building Industry Association named Mr. Chapman the 2001 Oregon Builder of the Year. He has served on two task forces established by Governor Kitzhaber and was a founding Board Member of the Tri-County Building Industry Services Board and the Metropolitan Codes Consolidation Task Force. Mr. Chapman is a charter sponsor of the Oregon Streamlining Effort through the National Conference of States on Building Codes and Standards.

Craig Brown, Executive Vice President, Matrix Development
Craig Brown has been in property development for more than 25 years. He manages Matrix Development in the acquisition and development of property into residential lots for home building. Mr. Brown’s understanding of the intricacies of the government approval process for land development and master planning has resulted in our premium property acquisition. He creates the foundation for building the highest-quality Legend Homes.



Diane Jarvis, Chief Financial Officer, Matrix Development and Legend Homes
Diane Jarvis has worked in finance for land and new home development companies for more than 20 years. Ms. Jarvis serves as the primary liaison between lending banks and Matrix Development/Legend Homes, and is responsible for project financing of land acquisition and new home construction. She also leads the accounting team, whose goal is to provide our management team information needed to build on our success. She holds an Oregon CPA License with inactive status.

Mike Goodrich, Director of Production, Vice President Legend Homes, Corvallis Communities
In October 2002, Mike Goodrich was selected to manage the first Legend Homes community outside of Portland: Corvallis Communities. Heavily involved in development in Linn and Benton Counties, Mr. Goodrich has been in the home building business for more than 20 years. He serves on the Board of Directors as Treasurer for the Willamette Valley Home Builders Association, the Advisory Board of the Oregon State University Department of Design and Human Environment, the United Way and the State of Oregon Low Rise Residential Structures Board. He has also earned the State of Oregon Master Builder designation.

Laurie Rubenstein, Vice President of Sales & Marketing; Principal Broker, M.I.R.M., Legend Real Estate Services
Native Oregonian Laurie Rubenstein has been in the real estate business since the late 1980s. As the principal broker for Legend Homes, she heads a large team trained to understand ever-changing customer needs. Ms. Rubenstein has been inducted as a member into the Institute of Residential Marketing (M.I.R.M.), the most prestigious sales and marketing designation given by the National Association of Home Builders. She is dedicated to providing homebuyers the best new-home sales professionals in the region. To ensure customer satisfaction, Ms. Rubenstein leads her staff in regular trainings that build on a model of continuous quality improvement.

Krista Boyd, Director of Marketing, M.I.R.M., Legend Homes
With Legend Homes since 2000, Krista Boyd is responsible for planning and supervising all media purchasing, creating and implementing advertising plans and budgets, coordinating staff for the opening and closing of communities, and supervising events and community relations. Ms. Boyd has been inducted as a member into the Institute of Residential Marketing (M.I.R.M.), the most prestigious sales and marketing designation given by the National Association of Home Builders. She is one of seven members in Oregon and among less than 1,000 nationwide with the M.I.R.M. designation. Ms. Boyd is also actively involved in the Portland Home Builders Association.

Deidre Newby, Manager, Legend Mortgage
Deidre Newby brings to Legend Homes an excellent understanding of the ever-changing lending market, with 20 years experience in mortgage lending. With more than 10 years dedicated to Legend Homes buyers, she ensures buyer satisfaction throughout the purchase process. Ms. Newby remains current with mortgage lending practices and is committed to helping each homebuyer with their home or refinance loan of choice.
